Bus station ticket sales timetable
Monday to Friday: from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Saturdays – Sundays and holidays: from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tickets sale (in Alicante Airport): On the bus at the airport (pay the driver). No pre-book needed.
Journey time: 50 minutes

Disadvantages: Some flights land after 10pm. Sometimes the bus fills up quickly with people and you have to wait more than 2 hours for the next bus.
Alternatives: The best alternative is to get a taxi or rent a car at the same airport, getting a discount of up to 15%
Delays in flights and night schedules: For flights arriving after 9pm, we recommend renting a car.
The route selected will run inland via the A-7 highway instead of following the N-332 route, thus avoiding traffic delays on the N-332, especially during the summer months.

You’ll easily get from Alicante to Torrevieja around 2pm. There are buses running every hour. Make sure you refresh the page though to get the timetable and it’ll show if it’s already available for your dates.
Can I buy my ticket online as need to travel on first bus on sat from torrevieja but ticketboffice not open at that time.
You can buy a ticket in advance from the counter or the machine at Torrevieja bus station. The machine only accepts cards but they take cash or cards at the counter. I have bought tickets 4 or 5 days in advance, but I don’t think you can buy tickets online
I will have a bigger sport luggage. Is it possible to put on the bus?
I am due to arrive into Alicante airport at 20:45 in February so don’t believe I would make the 21:00 bus. This site says there is a 22:00 bus, but the website for the bus company has the last bus at 21:00, can you confirm the 22:00 bus?

Buses are punctual. As far as I know you can get the ticket on the bus, also in advance online.

Terrible service from the office and also the driver, arrived a few minutes before the bus left. Asked for my ticket and had to wait 5 mins to pay by card, so the bus had left! The bus driver knew I was waiting.
