SUMMARY:Ballet “Sleeping Beauty”
DESCRIPTION:\nThe Teatro Principal of Alicante hosts the ballet “The Sleeping Beauty”\n\nOn January 23, 2025 at 8:30 p.m., the International Classical Ballet will present “The Sleeping Beauty” at the Teatro Principal in Alicante.\n\nThis ballet, premiered in St. Petersburg in 1890, has music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and choreography by Marius Petipá.\n\nThe story features three big parties in a palace: the presentation of Princess Aurora when she is born, her 16th birthday and her wedding. The evil witch Carabos casts a curse saying that Aurora will prick herself and die, but the Lilac Fairy changes it for a long sleep. One hundred years later, Prince Desiré wakes her up with a kiss. At the wedding, in addition to the kings and fairies, characters from famous fairy tales such as Cinderella, Puss in Boots and Little Red Riding Hood appear. \n\nTickets for the performance are available from 20 euros at the box office of the Teatro Principal in Alicante.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n {\n "@context": "https://schema.org",\n "@type": "NewsArticle",\n "headline": "",\n "image": [\n ""\n ],\n "datePublished": "1970-01-01",\n "dateModified": "1970-01-01"\n }\n \n\n
