Antonio Ballesta presents The Ineffable Layout, an exhibition proposal that invites us to explore the stroke as an essential and expressive language, where line and gesture become a vehicle for the intangible, the suggested and the emotional.
The exhibition can be visited from April 17 to May 28 in the Vista Alegre Exhibition Hall.
Antonio Ballesta is a painter whose career is characterised by constant research into drawing, gesture and the expressiveness of stroke. His work moves between the conceptual and the sensory, understanding the creative process as a means to explore that which cannot always be named.
The exhibition brings together a selection of works representative of his pictorial research, in which stroke and painting are presented as structure, rhythm and thought, inviting the viewer to a leisurely and personal contemplation.
