The design includes new figures and special allegories that pay tribute to the history of Torrevieja. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-la-concejal-a-de-fiestas-del-ayuntamiento-de-torrevieja-ha-dispuesto-tanto-para-el-bel-n-como-para-el-resto-de-las-actividades-incluidas-en-la-programaci-n-de-las-fiestas-patronales-en-honor-a-la-pur-sima-concepci-n-todas-las-medidas-y-recomendaciones-de-las-autoridades-sanitarias-con-motivo-de-la-pandemia-de-la-covid-19\">The municipal Nativity Scene includes the representation of several tourist icons of Torrevieja, such as the columns of Playa del Cura, the Casino cultural society and the salt mountains<\/h3>\n\n<p>Torrevieja&#8217;s Plaza de la Constituci\u00f3n (the roundabout) hosts a large nativity scene depicting the birth of Christ every year.<\/p>\n\n<p>The scenery represents the daily life of a Hebrew village mixed with <strong>local customs and emblematic buildings of Torrevieja<\/strong> (some of them have already disappeared).<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>More than 500 figures<\/strong> mounted on an area of almost 100m2<\/h3>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a figures show everyday actions of deep-rooted tradition, such as the slaughter of pigs, the cooking of torrijas, the collection of firewood, etc.<\/p>\n\n<p>Old houses, with traditional architecture from the Vega Baja area can be seen in the circular route of this Nativity scene that has a large tent to protect it from the rain.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is advisable to visit with plenty of time in order to pedestrian route has been created so that all visitors can enjoy it.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Plaza de la Constituci\u00f3n, colloquially called &#8220;<strong>La Glorieta<\/strong>&#8220;, is illuminated with Christmas decorations, a stage for various musical performances throughout the month of December and a large fir tree brought from the forests of Sweden and given to the people of Torrevieja by the large community of Scandinavians living in the city.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/torrevieja.com\/ps15\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Belen-Municipal-Nativity-scene-Torrevieja-2023-Plaza-del-molino-1024x576.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
