of La Mata will be held from September 12 to October 7 with a pilgrimage, children&#8217;s activities, running of the bulls of San Ferm\u00edn, paella contest, open-air dances, multicolored parade, religious acts and proposals for the whole family.<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">Among the most outstanding events are the pilgrimage to the Eduardo Gil Rebollo Park, the San Ferm\u00edn children&#8217;s running of the bulls, the paella contest, the floral offering, the Multicolor Parade, the popular festivals, the High Mass and the procession of the Virgen del Rosario.<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Patron Saint Festivities of La Mata in honour of the Virgen del Rosario will be held from 12 September to 7 October 2026 with a programme that combines tradition, religious events, music, gastronomy, children&#8217;s activities and days of coexistence.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Festival program<\/h3>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Saturday, September 12<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>12:00 p.m.: &#8220;Surriagaso&#8221;, kick-off of the festivities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Charanga, DJ, water parties and entertainment activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sunday, September 13<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>09:30 h: Departure of the pilgrimage from the parish church.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>11:00 a.m.: Campaign mass in Eduardo Gil Rebollo Park.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5:00 p.m.: Return of the pilgrimage to the parish church.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Friday, September 18<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>9:00 p.m.: Day of coexistence &#8220;Our Young Seniors&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Saturday, September 19<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>11:30 a.m.: <a href=\"https:\/\/torrevieja.com\/en\/events\/san-fermin-childrens-running-of-the-bulls-in-la-mata-2026\/\">San Ferm\u00edn Children&#8217;s Running of the Bulls<\/a>, starting from the Plaza de Gaspar Perell\u00f3 and traveling through different streets to the Plaza de Encarnaci\u00f3n Puchol.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foam party at the end.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>8:45 p.m.: Summer cinema with popcorn and cotton candy in the Plaza de Encarnaci\u00f3n Puchol.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sunday, September 20<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>07:30 a.m.: Rosary of the Dawn and sung
