Fulgencio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Agents of the National Police have arrested <strong>a 34-year-old male fugitive of English nationality<\/strong> in the town of San Fulgencio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He had an <strong>OEDE<\/strong> (<em>European Arrest and Surrender Order for Extradition<\/em>) issued by the UK authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/home-affairs\/what-we-do\/policies\/borders-and-visas\/schengen-information-system\/sirene-cooperation_en\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" class=\"ek-link\">SIRENE<\/a> office, the agents discovered that he was hidden in the province of Alicante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Having carried out the first investigations into his whereabouts, the agents located his home <strong>in the town of San Fulgencio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to proceed with his arrest, they have had the collaboration of agents of the San Fulgencio Local Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agents were able to identify the fugitive by one of his tattoos on his neck despite the fact that he was not carrying any identifying documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-arrested-fugitive-had-assaulted-his-ex-partner-in-essex-uk\">The arrested fugitive had assaulted his ex-partner in Essex, UK.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The arrested person is charged with an alleged crime of injuries, death threats and damages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These events took place in 2019<strong> in the town of South Ockendon<\/strong>, Essex (United Kingdom).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fugitive allegedly forced the door of the house where his ex-partner lived and attacked her, while threatening her with death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally the victim managed to escape thanks to the help of a neighbor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this crime of harm to persons, the fugitive detained in San Fulgencio faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The detainee is being dealt with by the Central Court of Instruction number Five of the National Court that will be <strong>in charge of processing the European Detention Order.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
