The monument to the man of the sea has been the background for the selfies of many tourists who visit our city for more than 45 years.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

THE RESTORATION OF THE MONUMENT TO THE MAN OF THE SEA HAS ALREADY BEGUN ON THE MARITIME PROMENADE OF JUAN APARICIO<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Torrevieja City Council maintenance services will proceed to fill the cracks and clean the emblematic monument to the man of the sea with high pressured water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A monument that has been the background for the selfies of tourists who visit our city for more than 45 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only those over 22 years old will remember that the original location of the monument to the man of the sea was in the centre of the fountain in front of the burger restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, in 1999, the figure of the man from the sea was moved a few metres forward, taking advantage of the comprehensive reform that was made to Paseo Juan Aparicio.<\/p>\n\n\n
