Up to 70% probability of a hailstorm in Torrevieja<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The state meteorological agency AEMET<\/strong>, is warning that today, Monday, September 20th, from 4pm, there is a high probability (up to 70%) that there will be rain and hail.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This meteorological phenomenon can become a gota fria<\/strong>, or cold drop, that we suffer every year around the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rains accompanied by hail are very harmful, mainly for agriculture, since the fruit on the trees can be pierced by the hail and this in turn can lead to the loss of entire crops.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vehicles parked on the street can also suffer major damage, which is not always covered by car insurance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Given the high probability that the storm will bring rain with hail, we recommend that you store your car in the garage or any other protected area if possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This meteorological alert affects the entire southern coast of the province of Alicante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
