On the eve of the night of San Juan<\/strong>, hundreds of people gather on the beaches of Torrevieja to celebrate a purifying ritual that consists of lighting a bonfire in the sand of Torrevieja beach<\/strong> and jumping on it, in order to get rid of every bad thing that has happened to us during the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Subsequently, the ceremony ends by putting your feet in the water for a short time to receive the full force of the sea.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n On the night of Thursday, June 23rd<\/strong>, at 11:30pm there will be a fireworks display accompanied by music (pyromusical show) from the natural lakess of Paseo Juan Aparicio in Torrevieja (map<\/a>).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In this pyrotechnic and musical show, the effects of fireworks will be combined with soundtracks from films such as Rocky, Star Wars and The Lion King.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The night of San Juan is celebrated every year on the night of June 23rd<\/strong>, that is, on the eve of June 24rd, the day of San Juan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Access to the beaches will be controlled by security forces to prevent the use of wood<\/strong> that can leave dangerous residues in the sand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The City Council will deliver pine wood to anyone who wants to celebrate the night of San Juan on the beaches of Torrevieja by lighting a bonfire on the beach<\/strong>.
