The new bikes for the Guardia Civil are designed to hunt and fine violators without getting off the bike. These new bikes, which will be used by the Guardia Civil Traffico come with a built-in mobile radar that can control the average speed of a vehicle over 30 km, and a telephoto camcorder generation, which in the photography world would delight any lover of the world of images.

These technical advances will be mounted on the 300 new bikes that currently are being prepared for delivery to the police, are already in the hands of the General Directorate of Traffico. These new bikes will model BMW R 1200 RT, which has a 1,170 cc engine and 110 hp, in addition to the recognized systems and Paralever and Telelever suspension is the only market that incorporates the latest technology in active safety features, as:

- Brake System BMW Motorrad Integral ABS generation.
- Traction Control BMW Motorrad ASC (limiting the engine torque output as a function of pavement condition, avoiding the uncontrolled sliding of the rear wheel).
- Control Tire Pressure BMW Motorrad RDC (which informs the driver of the level of tire pressure, warning of deviations relevant with a message on the display)
