TRANSFERRING A MORTGAGE

How easy is it to transfer a mortgage in Spain to another persons name? A married couple do not want their house anymore and would like to transfer the property and the mortgage into their sons name.
He is self employed. How would they go about doing this and how long does it take? The mortgage is with BBVA.
