As I cant post on the legal page for some reason
it is your upstairs nieghbours problem if you get a leak in your apartment. They must pay for any repairs to your property caused by a leak. It happened to my sister her upstairs nieghbour happened to be the president it was paid for by him
I]Water leak from flat above
Hi, When we were at our flat over Xmas we noticed that there was a damp patch on our kitchen ceiling coming from the kitchen of the flat above. I pushed a note under the door of the flat with my email address but got no reply. I have emailed the management company who said that they would push another note under their door before we are next out in Spain. Does anyone know where we stand with this situation if the owner of the flat doesn't get back to us?
Thanks, Rachel[/I]
