III CARRERA / SOLIDARIA MARCHA OF ASIMEPP
For something new in this third edition you can carry out the solidarity march together with your pet.
The race will take place on Sunday, March 1, at 10:00 a.m., departing from the Torrevieja Casino. In this third edition the race will be 8 kilometres, open to all those interested in participating, and the march will be 4 kilometres.
As a novelty this year, in the 4-kilometre march you can participate with dogs (only one per person), there is also a children’s race for children from 8 to 11 years. The price to participate in both the race and the march (including dog walking) is 10 euros, while the children’s race is priced at 5 euros. Registration can be made through the website www.asuspuestos.com or at the headquarters of the association, located at Calle Concordia, No. 9.
This year the event will also feature an exhibition offered by the Agility Club of Torrevieja, as well as a demonstration of the actions carried out by the canine unit of the Local Police (GRO), and the Civil Guard. The exhibition will be located on Paseo Vistalegre, as well as a bar, there will be tents with the different collaborators and a podium, which will be located next to the monument dedicated to Musicians. Prior to the march with animals, the Agility Club of Torrevieja will give guidelines to all the owners to indicate how best to take the animals during the march.
