The Nutcracker – Romanian Opera Ballet

The Ballet of the Romanian National Opera arrives in Alicante with a Christmas classic: “The Nutcracker”. A magical show for the whole family.

With more than 45 artists who will perform this famous ballet with a plot based on a story about a girl and her adventure with a nutcracker that comes to life on Christmas Eve.

This adaptation of the Christmas classic will feature the iconic music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, choreography based on the work of Marius Petipa and a set design rich in details, ideal for the whole family.

The plot places us in the festive atmosphere of the Silberhaus family living room, where everyone close to us enjoys the Christmas tree party. Little Maria and her brother Fritz dabble in gifts, the most precious of all, by far, being the majestic Nutcracker. From here to enter the magical land of fairies, giants and puppets that sing happily…

The performances will be on Wednesday, December 11 and Thursday, December 12 at 8:30 p.m . at the Teatro Principal in Alicante and you can buy your tickets at the theater’s box office.
