T.V and Video again

[thejock]

Hi - New to this forum but need some advice.
Does anyone know if programmes recorded from UK programmes on to video cassette in the UK will play on a video cassette player/recorder in Spain?

The Television was bought in Torrevieja. We can either take a video cassette player/recorder from UK or purchase one in Spain.

Do pre-recorded Videos (films etc) purchased in UK work on Spanish Video player or should a video player be taken from UK.

Same question for DVDs. They were purchased in UK and the dvd player
can be purchased locally or taken from UK. The television is spanish.

tv and video

all your videos and your dvd;s will work on the tv you can bring your own video recorder over as it will work

The tape recording system is the same, the video signal system is the same (scart or phono plugs).
However, the UHF (arial) signal is different from the UK so you only need a Spanish TV for local UHF reception.
