Evening folks - we are coming out in September for a couple of weeks - bringing my folks back to where they used to stay about 10 years ago. We are staying in Avenida Diego Ramirez - can anyone advise us of some pubs within walking distance where we can watch scottish football - preferably ones that have Setanta? Also any "Irish" bars in the vicinity? Lastly, any recommendations for eating out locally or down in the main town

Live football

What better than to watch a live football match.
Fc Torrevieja, promoted to the third division of Spanish football, play their home games on Sundays and kick off at 6pm. Their home fixtures for Sept. are as follows. (Santa Pola is just a 15 minute drive north of Torry)

Entrance is just 10 euros for men, whilst ladies and pensioners enter for 5 euros. Children under 10 enter free

We are on the corner of Radio Murcia - I think this is fairly near Bar Oly - my mum and dad used to stay in Calle Galleon and the Oly was great for a last drink before bed but there was no football then
