Setanta TV

My wife and I will be in Torrevieja in September in the Calas Blancas area.
While we are there our football team Hearts will be playing Livingston and it is live on Setanta. Does anyone know of any pubs in Torrevieja which get Setanta TV?

Hiya - if you do a search of this discussion group I asked the same question about Setanta as we are also coming out in September - I was advised Bar Oly and Durty Nelly's should have it

We have a few names now and the ones you have mentioned all seem to be fairly close.
I also posted this on a Hearts fans message board and a bar called Shannons was mentioned. Someone also said they thought an Irish bar near Carrefour Supermarket may have Setanta.
Your suggestions seem closer however.

Sorry TERRDEE you are right I did not search through the forum I just posted as soon as we heard about the Hearts game being televised and I only looked at the first page.

No need to apologise! I wasnt meaning it as a criticism and hope it didnt come across as such - we are flying from Edinburgh on the 13th - will look out for some friendly Hearts supporters out there in some of the mentioned pubs - have a great holiday

No offence taken. Just feel stupid sometimes when the answers already there. However it also brought out another couple of possibilities.
We fly out on the 9th and leave on Saturday 17th to fly to Barcelona for four nights.
On your earlier post you also asked about places to eat in the town. I am not an expert on food and it is always a matter of personal taste (if you pardon the pun). Not in the town or a restaurant but a place my wife and I went to last year was I think either on the street you are living on or Manuel Galian(one block away from the beach).
Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the bar. However it is a small long bar frequented by local spanish and (a couple of the days we were there, although it was the World Cup some British people who live in Torrevieja).
It is owned by a polish woman and her daughter. They have a guitar in the bar they use for impromptu songs/fiestas. We went there a couple of times and got an enjoyable (for us) three course meal for six euros.
I think it is near the corner of one of those two streets and C/Fragatta.
Probably not a great description.
