We need to buy either a sim pack or a phone & sim from the torrevieja area in order to call the UK.

Can anyone suggest anywhere?

Also does anyone have an idea of prices or the best package to get for UK calls?

Not interested in anything flashy, just a basic phone as after all a phone is a phone.

Try Carrefor in Torry, think our last phone and sim card cost about 90 euros for "pay as you go" that included 20 euro's worth of phone calls, staff speak good english.

You could also try the Dog & Bone in La Zenia. We got our phones there. Basic ones. If I remember,they were 89e ? but that included 29e credit. And they sort out the phone so that its ready to use.

I bought a state of the art mobile (camera, MP3 player etc) from Eroski and it cost 89 euros including 20 euros of credit - it was Vodafone. If you want a less flashy phone it will be a lot cheaper.
