  • Bars/restaurants in Campoamor & Cabo Roig.

Has anybody got any reccommendations for any good bars and restraunts in and around this area?

The area is new to me and any info would be greatly appreciated.

Also which is the best beach/marina in this area too?

    Thanx

Italian Affair on the strip at Cabo Roig is good. Also, more traditionally is El Abuelo (The Grandfather) on the N332 between La Zenia island and the Cabo Roig island.

bars restraunts in campoamor and cabo roig

Lets start with one to avoid- SINATRAS in Cabo Roig.

This has completely bottomed out with awful Karoke and even worse (and overpriced meals). The owner and his staff are rude and arrogant and don't seem to care anymore. Don't waste your time and money.
I know it used to be good but be warned!!.

The ASIATIC WOK is fantastic value and is worth a visit. Soup, Spring rolls, crispy duck and fresh food including best quality meat and prawns cooked in front of you. And all for 10Euros. Also very good and polite service.

        Hi Taffy
Just returned from a brill' 2 weeks in Cabo Roig. Agree with other postings re Italian Affair and Asiatic Wok, both good food and excellent value. Other options include Greek, Mexican, Spanish and of course English, all these can be found, along with others on the "strip"
As for beaches, spoilt for choice, within few mins, Cabo, La zenia, Campoamor, also lots of small coves, depends what you want.
Have a great time, we're counting down the days until our return.

          Hi Taffy.

On the N332 by Campoamor are two Cepsa petrol stations. Next to one of them is a cervezeria called Las Villas which has an excellent restaurant behind it (on the seaward side of the road). Superb food and a fantastic wine list. Not cheap but well worth it.

          Chris.

If you have kids or want to see the footy etc. then you cannot beat The Calypso.
            Soft play area for kids.
            Trampolines
            Large Screen T.V.s
            Internet Cafe.
            Large comfy sofas.
            Cabaret on regularly.

Reasonably priced food - Good Breakfast - Sunset Cafe.

Both opposite to beachside. start of Cabo Roig strip.

Please, just take care crossing this road at all times.

The Marina is in deepest 'proper' Cabo Roig, seawards from the pyramid roundabout, about 2 kms. Made the news lately in that one of the piers collapsed taking a speed launch down with it.
Fabulous beach about 1km from the roundabout turning left and follow down to beach. Lovely cove. Have a great time
