wot a result for N Ireland

[Matchey]

great nite for Norn Iron showed more heart and gave all to beat England !!

Great score, but don't forget Scotland did pretty well too. Come on the Walt Man!!

Hmm... no comment yet from the English!
They must all be too busy watching the cricket..........and praying!

The England team got what they deserved - they lost the game to the side that played the better game of football. Crazy substitutions towards the end, and a complete inability to convert all that possession in the first haqlf into anything useful. Maybe a good wake-up call for the remaining group matches.

As for the cricket - England at 291 for 6 as I type. Not too bad I suppose!

all credit to young david healy run his guts out and scored a great goal, the n ireland fans were also great and song throughout the whole match.

fair play to david beckham and sven who accetpted n ireland played well and deserved to win.

its also interesting to hear that asley cole's wages for the year could buy the whole n ireland team - were was he for the goal !!

we arent getting carried away and still think england will qualify for world cup, this defeat may what they needed to get them going.
