I also bought a property off plan in April 2005 on Playa Golf 111. I was last there inspecting the property in March 2006. The property is almost complete. The Agent told us the completion date would be 30/06/06. Whilst I was there I asked why nobody had moved in to the properties that were half built before ours was even started and I was told that people would be moving in to them in May. This has now got me wondering if I will be completing at the end of June?

The building of the supermarket on Playa Golf 111 has started and I was told it is Aldi. Also a small Commercial Centre has been built. I was impressed with the amount of work that has been done on this site between October 2005 and March 2006. My next visit is in mid July.

Any completion dates on these? Hope they wont take as long as our place..

I have been told there will be a Cam Bank, restaurants and shops. They are almost built but I don't know when they will be completed.

I have just done a delivery to a house in this area it was an apartment playa golf the owners rent it and are doing well at the moment so good luck.

Playa Golf / Lomas de Cabo-Roig

Alfies Bar in the new commercial centre is open now. There will also be a florist, Chinese, Indian, Pizzeria and possibly another bar.
The bar is quite small but they have entertainment in the evenings.

How small are we talking here and do you know what sort of entertainment is planned?

Any idea on proposed opening dates of the others?

Small, being circa 10m long by c5m wide, plus small terrace outside. Live entertainment was advertised as an Elvis tribute last Saturday. Football also shown and a Plasma in the bar area. I couldn't see any food options other than chrisps.

The other thing I meant to add, is that every time I was up at the house, I had people knocking on my door asking if a) I wanted any work doing, and b) did I need a keyholder?

I am somewhat at a loss to know why someone would think that I would give a total stranger the keys to my property without any recommendation, and also pay for the privilage. A couple of them even got quite snotty when I said, politely, no thank you, saying that when I was burgled I shouldn't come running to them to sort it out!

You say you were broken into three times. What were they after when they broke in. Did they take anything.
Where abouts on Playa Golf were you. If the area is so bad how did you manage to sell your property when they are still building new ones.

Still havnt had a completion date!!!

Soon as we do, we will be booking to go for 2wks, hopefully to sign furnish etc.

Should be some time in July I guess?
