House sale tax

We sold our property in Spain this time last year , at the time taxes were charged as we were non residents. The required documents have been competed and submitted buy our Spanish solicitors. Does anyone know how long the Spanish tax office take to refund such taxes, as we have kept our bank account open , but would like to conclude all our business in Spain as soon as possible.

Would value anyone who has had first hand experience.

To be honest more chance of answering how long is a piece of string! One thing for certain you will need to keep pushing your solicitors otherwise it could take a very long time. My experience is they are never in a hurry to process refunds. BTW What makes you think you are due a refund?

When you are going to refund your amount so this is really taking some time to clear you important thing to have in and it would be really nice when it would make you the clearance all about.
