Regrettably very shortly I will be closing my cafe/bar and walking away. In an ideal world I would like someone coming in and taking over where I have left off. I am not looking for any going in payment i.e. trespasso or key money, but I would like a fair price for the fixtures and fittings and stock.
The bar has a very competitive rent and although I say it myself is a very nice bar. It is fully equipped and licensed, it has 60+ covers, there is a stage with a decent music system, also 2 resident darts teams and a pool team, there is a local weekly market and we also have a Friday quiz night.
This would be my preferred option.
Alternatively, someone coming in and clearing the lot, again for an agreed price, there is a lot of decent equipment.
My last option is to clear everything out and put into my lock up and sell everything individually, this is going to make a lot of work for myself, but if I have to go down this route then so be it.
My future is going to be split between the UK and my home here and I would like to see the future of this bar secured.
I am not prepared to have anyone come in and run/manage the bar. This would not be an option.
