hi new to this site.does anybody have any information on start date for building,and reasons for delays at los balcones

search through previous post there are a lot. We originally signed for phase 1 March 2003 supposed completion June 2004. Managed to swap to another site Aug. 2004 after pestering Agent and took delivery April 2005.
When I looked at Del Largo site July 2005 it was exactly as it had been when we paid our deposit in March 2003. We were told that they could not get planning permission.

If you have not done so already go to Forum 'Builders' on this site. More importantly go to your solicitors.......... You will understand the reaon why when you read the contents of the forum.

hi molly thanks for that.we bought in oct 02 so weve been waiting over 3 years.long enough!are you waiting for a property there?

Hi Dibbs

no, we already bought a property and took posession in November 2004. we are waiting on the deeds which should have been signed 4 months ago but the builder wont or cant sign them. we have had to seek legal council from our solicitor.
we have heard many horror stories about properties being sold off plan around the time we bought in 2002 which have never been built as the builder had only got preliminary planning permission and has since been they cannot have any planning permission as the area is a green belt. there are proportidly 500 people who have bought there and would therefore be in the same position as yourself. you sould try and contact other who have bought in your area or go back to your agent (if you used one) or go and see the solicitor. as i said in my earlier message keep checking on the builders forum and post your quotes there. this forum seems to be too old now.
