Internet Cafes and Web / Wifi Access in Punta Prima

Hello

I'm coming over to Punta Prima for Christmas, but need to keep in touch with work (oh, the joys of being self-employed) by going online for an hour or so most days.

Is there a web cafe in the Punta Prima / Torrevieja area that has WiFi access?

Would it be easier/cheaper to get a phone line installed into my girlfriend's appartment? I already have a global roaming account that gives me dial up at local call rates in Spain

Unfortunately getting a phone line installed isn't the easiest thing in the world! Could happen tomorrow, could happen in three years time. There are several internet cafes about, but I don't know about wi-fi. There are cafes in the following locations:

Above supercor just down the N332 from Punta Prima. Next to or very near the sunrise bar.
At La Zenia - Dog and Bone just down the road from Changing Rooms, and also next to or very near Paddy's Point.

I would think that the Dog and Bone is probably your best bet for wi-fi.

Thanks for all the prompt replies everyone; looks like I'm going to have to sample some new pubs!

Wi-fi would be ideal because I need to do a fair amount of ftp-ing, etc.

You could park up, but its more fun if you sit outside said bars with a nice cool bottle.
