  • Anyone in Formentera / Rojales

We have just got back from our fantastic place in Formentera, would love to hear from anyone else from the same area.

After waiting over 2 years we got our money back from our original purchase that never got built and went with a small estate agent who`s service was second to none.

Hi we are buying in Formentera an apartment in Eurozenia (Palacious Mar) builders. We should of completed Dec 05 but has been put back until April 06. We were there on holiday 2 weeks ago, things seem to be going well (fingers crossed). Where in Formentera is your place.

      Hi Kat

If you go along the main road in Formentera we are in the last street on the left, just in front of the orange groves. It is a small orange&cream coloured building on 2 floors.

We have bought in Formentera, just got back from a week there. Our house is on the Princesa Elena build at the end of the village. So far so good. Certainly did not want to return to the UK!

          Hi Chezwade

We are not far from you, our apartment is the one being built just where the sign starts for Formentera if heading from Rojales along that main road.

Whenever we go out we always end up eating or dining in Benimar (very nice) but was wondering if there were any places in Formentera to socialise or meet locals.

          Regards Kat

              Bars in Formentera

Kat you will find I think 7 Spanish bars and 1 restaurant in our area.

If you walk down the main road you will come Bar Pepito then Bar Crocodillo. everything else is in the side streets on the left hand side. Bar Candy, Trasgu (which serves nice Tapas and bar meals). I think this is the bar where you will find most off the English go into. The other names I can`t remember, but if you walk up and down the side streets you will find them.

We also have an Internet Cafe bar, 2small shops selling food a butchers and a bakers all round the corner from the Church square.

We have tried the Spanish restaurant which was very nice prices are a bit on the high side, but worth a visit.

you will find at this time of the year that some of the bars close early.

Will you be living out there? When is your place due for completion?

We quite often go into the Bridge Bar in Jojales, which is owned by John& Esther an Irish couple.

Yes I know John and Pam they are my neighbours. There are a few others living there permentantly too.

We like the Oasis bar and bar Sonia (nice reasonably priced tapas) in Benijofar. Only a short walk throught the orange groves.
