Well said! I think that you would pay a lot more for a lot less than you get in Dream Hills for the money! The position alone is worth the money, but the houses are well built by one of the best companies around, Torrevisa. Meanwhile I totally agtree with Keith, the life here is good, and compared with the UK,...well there is no comparison!

i have seen on the site from a real estate agent in torrevieja that he has some dreamhills home sold for less then € 125000 one was sold for € 120000 and an other one for € 115000. the name from the real estate agent is also mentioned a lot on the dreamhills community site !! so he must know what up for less money.

it says he help the people who need to sell their houses on dreamhills to sell it very quickly.

House purchase

We have lived in the area for 6 years in Al Andalus 111 which is nearby. We watched Dream Hills I and 2 being built. There is nothing wrong with is area it is ideally situated for access to everywhere. The noise from the motorway is negligible.

People who spead rumours do not live anyhere near here so do not take any notice but vist and make up your own mind. Dream Hills 2 is very quiet because there are not many residents.

Our apartments are similar and were built by the same builder and the area is well established.

You certainly need to look at buying off an existing owner as prices here are dropping and it is now a good time to buy.

Prices two years ago off an agent were over €160000 they should now be between €100000 to €120000 for private sale.

Our apartments were the same price and someone recently sold for €80000 as they were desperate to realise some cash.

As a young person myself, I moved here when I was 21 and have known the area since I was 10 I would recommend more of a central property, the outer urbs are nice if you want the quiet life, but for holidays can be a little boring and 'same old same old'.
I know of a property for sale in one of the urbs actually in Torrevieja called la Rosaleda, it's up for a quick sale due to a death in the family and is available for 125,000E key in hand, with 2 beds, large garden and large solarium. Right near the beach, bars, local shops, restaurants, aquapark, local bus routes, health centre and the habaneras shopping centre.

Some people call it nightmare hills, some dream hell....
Some people love it some people dont.

Same with Torrevieja, Some people like it,others dont. Just goes to show, you must form an opinion for yourself.

Go and rent for 6 months or so, while you are looking for property. If you want newbuild. a lot of developers actually will let you rent the apartmenst for x amount of time. if you then purchase, the rental cost will be deducted from the price.
Excellent way of try before buy.
