Chritsmas at Torrevieja

My Husband and I are flying out to Torrevieja on December 23rd and returning to UK on the 1st January. I understand 1st January is bank holiday in this area and am wondering if this means there will be no local taxis available. Can anyone help.

Also have been tol that Restauante Dinastia is opening on Christmas day, any idea whay sort of times and would it be Chinese of English, any other recommended places to eat as this is our first time to Torrevieja.

Hi, you would be better getting an ex pat to do your airport run as they are much cheaper than official taxis.

I don't know about the restaurant you are asking about, but you will need to book any Xmas lunch well in advance (like now!). Some restaurants charge extortionate amounts for Xmas lunch, so best ask some residents/forum members in your area if they recommend any restaurants etc.

Hi There

Dinastia is a fantastic Chinese and Japanese restaurant and although it is very expensive it is a great environment in which to eat.

Be prepared for a big bill tho

never eaten in Dinastia but all I've spoken too say the same thing, excellent surroundings & average food!
