adviec and info please

hi all we have just come back from 2 great weeks in benalmadena with are 2 kids who are 1 and 5.we are looking at booking somewere for next year we found benalmadena had loads to do for kids but also keep its Spanish charm we had a water park, mini train, hop on hop off bus, dolphin shows, a zoo and there were play parks all over without need to hire a car. we were looking at staying in Europa 3 apartments in torrevieja is there much to do for kids around there without need to hire a car or would we need a car. i hear there are 2 waterpark one in torrevieja which I believe is walkable from apartment and other in la siesta also a safairi park in elche would we be able get a bus to water park in la siesta and safari park or are there any excursion shops that do trips there. also have far is a walk to the beach from there? is torrevieja much like what we had in benalmadena or would people recommened else were any info and advice would be great.thanks

I have been in Benalmadena quite few times, it's great but I do prefer Guardamar. I used to spend my holidays in punta Prima, torrevieja, very nice as well but I decided to try once Guardamar, recommended by Friends and l love it, people are really friendly, kids love it! We always have a blast! Best wishes!

many thanks would you say car hire is needed in torrevieja or gauardamar or not also what is crime like and is there much to do there as have been put off as people have told me there is alot of crime and not alot to do for kids in torrevieja thanks

I have been in Benalmadena quite few times, it's great but I do prefer Guardamar. I used to spend my holidays in punta Prima, torrevieja, very nice as well but I decided to try once Guardamar, recommended by Friends and l love it, people are really friendly, kids love it! It depends on the area you will stay, the first time I went to Guardamr i deduced to rent in the centre, my kids would play in the reina Sofia park and we did enjoy the beach and the gorgeous pine forest, it was actually June, we went to Tabarca, we visited Rio safari in elche.. We did rent a car, I always do, I like to be free to move around, public transport is one of the weakest points in these area.. When are you planning on coming?

Yes, I have also live there once upon a time. It was a good to living. I rented a car and visited the places and enjoyed it.
