Is it possible to get feedback from anyone that has a broadband connection. I am tempted to go with Telefonica but Gonuts also offer a similar service at the same price at 39 Euros per month.

Another one for Telefonica we have wireless and no problems.
I believe it has been said that if you have telefonica for your phone and if you have a different ISP there can be problems as each Co blames the other.

I have had Telefonica now for over a year,and have never been able to get the wireless connection working,despite calling in some experts.The help line is all in Spanish,including the manual and set-up cd.I see wanadoo are doing broadband for 6 euros a month,then you pay so much a minute,with a max of 42 euros a month,and you can get the set-up in english i believe.So i will be changing over soon.

I've been with tiscali.es for 18 months and no problems. Euro 34.95 +iva 24/7, although website is in spanish it's easy enough to work out contract that suits you and any emails I've sent to their support centre have been answered in english!!

I have had broadband from telefonica since the day it was introduced publically to Spain, and never had any glitches to speak of imparticulary.
Telefonica will be one of the major players in broadband having bought out several of the smaller companies making them No3 largest supplier.
I cant remember which magazine it was in but the outlook for telefonicas implementation of of highspeed services will equal or surpass that of the competition over the next couple of years.
I would say though that it is better to use the router than the adsl modem only, especially if you have more than one computer.

Telefonica has the monopoly here

They control the lot, any "offertas" are only side deals which have been made between the other provider and Telefonica. Ultimately all is owned by Telefonica and is subleased to others unless Telefonica holds a vested intrest in the subprovider.
