  • IKEA and Corte Inglese

Some time ago a thread ran on this site with reference to IKEA opening a store at Murcia.

    Has this happened?

Also I have heard rumours for some years of Corte Inglese opening in Torrevieja.

    Anyone heard about this?

    Hi Andy

I believe the IKEA store is suffering from the usual Spanish problem(Builders Delay)

I have heard mention on other forums that it is due to open 2006/7

Corte Ingles have opened a store on the N332 near to Punta Prima but it is just a food shop and is called Supercor a bit like Marks & Spencer excellent selection and quality but quite expensive

    Regards

    Glynne

We were told by our rep. that a Corte Inglese was to open in Torrevieja.
The plot of land where they showed us is now the Tabernas.
        So who knows.

WE were told by OUR rep that buying through a large estate agent was hassle-free.

Hmmm .. should've thought twice about using an "international" company. Perhaps if we'd used yellow pages instead of the world map.

I agree Chezwade how little we know to begin with.
How much more we know at the end.
