PAYG Mobile Top-up

Morning all.

Does anyone know whether it's possible to top-up a Spanish Vodafone PAYG sim from the UK? Ideally I'd like to do it online.

I know that some bank accounts on line allow you to do this, I know we can charge our movistar phone online with BBVA, so perhaps this is an avenue to look at??

Unfortunately my Spanish bank, excellent as it is, does not have an internet banking facility. Thanks anyway. Any other suggestions?

I too have a BBVA account but have had constant problems trying to top up my mobile. Keep getting a message asking for a Transaction Code, do you know what that is? I am sure I did not get one when I registered?!!!

The CAM bank as online banking and i top up my phone with it or get someone here to top it up for you and transfer the money

I think this is the clave code that you need. We had a problem with ours and the only way we sorted it out was by going in to the branch and sorting it out. Unfortunatley they werent the most helpful people in the world, hence why we are now in the process of chaniging bank accounts!!! This was our business account as well.

My personal accounts are with Cam, much more helpful.

My suggestion wood be to go in to branch and explain to them that you are having trouble with the clave code to authorise transactions, which they should then either give to you there or post to you.

It's really easy to top up a Spanish Vodafone in the UK. All you do is buy a UK Voda top up voucher and enter the codes. You can only do this while you are in the UK with your Spanish PAYG, if you wait until you go back to Spain it won't work.
