The village of Formentera

After 2yrs 6mths we pulled out of our original contract as the property did not get built. We found a fantastic luxury apartment in Formentera which is the next village to our original purchase.
We received our keys in October and went to stay for the New Year.

What a great time we had joining in with the locals in the square, complete with free grapes,drink, party bag and fire work display. Followed by a disco.

We ended up with about 30 people on our Solarium some who we have became good friends with and no trouble what so ever.

This village is growing every month but without loosing it`s charm off a typical spanish old village.

hi chezwade,i nearly bought in formentera but opted for almoradi instead,ive driven thru many times but there didnt seem a lot there cos when i entered the village i seemed to be driving straight out again....didnt know it had a square.are there many places to have a nice meal?

At the moment in our village there is only 1 restaurant and a couple of bars thatserve food, but we are within walking distance of other bars and restaurants. It`s all about discovery you really have to leave the car and walk up and down the streets to find what is there. Almoradi does have a great market.
