Go to the website www.ikea.es there is a map on it giving the main roads and the exit number.

De nada Katrina, personally I think it might be chaos for the first few days after opening so I might wait a week or 2. I see you are in Scotland, I am Scottish as well and I remember when Ikea first opened in Edinburgh, it was mad for a while. We used to make a day out to Gateshead prior to that. Then we won a watch when they opened in Braehead and we lived in Renfrew so we could actually walk to an Ikea!!!
I am looking forward to seeing the Murcia store, probably coz I know it will just be an excuse to have a day out with lunch thrown in!!! Where are you in Scotland and where is your place here?

Sandra we were virtually neighbours we live in Paisley next to Barshaw Park and shop in Braehead all the time. Still frequent the local Chinese rest Highland star in Renfrew. We have a holiday place in Gran Alacant 40 mins from Torre where are you? The world is a small place!

It sure is a small place. I live in Pilar de la Horadada, about 20kms south of Torrevieja and on the border of the Valencian and Murica regions. This is my third place in this area, my first being a holiday home in La Siesta Torrevieja, then I moved to Torre de la Horadada. Sold that place last June and move to an atico apartment in Pilar which we love. We have lived in Spain full time since May 2003 and love it. We know Gran Alacant a little as we have friends (fellow Scots) who live just inland a little of there and we have been to Gran Alacant with them for a meal. We enjoyed many nice walks in Barshaw when our lads were small and my hubby loved the little train there (he is a big wean at heart). Maybe catch up sometime for a drink. All the best,
                Sandra
