  • Channel 4 Ryanair programme...

anyone else see this last night? - absolutely discussing!

We have never used them as we're stuck with Easyjet in Bristol but I can quite catagorically state we will never use Ryanair!

How a company can repeatedly get away with so many security & safety violations is a disgrace - just waiting for an accident to happen!

& as for the sick left on the plane with some aftershave chucked on it.......

Ryanair have today been called to explain why boarding passengers' passports were not checked on at least one of their flights! This one could go for a while!

If after five months of filming all they could come up with was what they showed then ryanair have nothing to worry about, staff allways complain about management, there safety record can be compared to anyone after 25 years in business. People who complain about them are usually the first ones on the website for the cheap fares, air travel is like taking a bus nowadays, so get a life for yourself and be grateful for the like of ryanair and easyjet but for them brittish airways and similar airlines would be robbing us blind like they used to.

'British Airways robbing us blind'.....if you check on the BA website ba.com on a regular basis you will find in almost every case they beat Ryanair/sleazyjet etc on price and value.

Ryanair advertise headline prices of 20pence and then add every charge known to man ( and some not yet known) BA give you the bottom line including all taxes and charges.

BA offer free food and free drinks on all flights plus a newspaper on the Spanish routes.

Also if it all goes pear shaped I know who I would rather be flying with and it's not Ryanair.....

Prior to the introduction of low cost airlines b.a and other major carriers had the monopoly of flying and charged drastic charges for people to fly only the rich could afford it that is the point I was making do you think b.a and others would be offering these deals now if they did not have to, because the low cost airlines are taking there customers by the plane load. Instead of knocking these airlines we should be supporting them for bringing the big boys to there knees.

seem to remember reading somewhere a few months back some sort of watchdog were trying to force airlines to show the total cost of a flight to prevent all these little sneaky add-ons - anyone else remember/heard anything?

Anyone noticed when booking Easyjet flights now they automatically include travel insurance hoping you won't notice it & forget to uncheck the box? - isn't there some sort of law against this? - it's damm disgraceful they're allowed to try to trick people!
