Furniture Pack

I have a friend who is selling a single bed with full size storage base (essential in houses without much cupboard space) it has quality mattress and has another bed on wheels underneath which sits up on metal legs to make a further single. Two months old. Cost 450 euros selling for 275. tel Andrew on 680 324 288 if you are interested. If not interested, I would still avoid furniture packs, mostly cheap and nasty. You will get better stuff for less.
Ikea is opening in Murcia on 28th Feb. See www.ikea.es for map
they are hard to beat for everyday crockery, glasses, cutlery etc.

Thanks for the info. Not familer with Ikea. We dont have it here in Ireland. Had a look at the web site and it looks great. Not sure what kind of beds I will be getting yet but will keep your friends one in mind. Would he be able to deliver to the apartment in Algorfa if I bought it as I will only be hiring a car while Im here?

Possibly could deliver.

We were offered a furniture pack by our builders but they are quite basic just pine stuff and very basic kitchen stuff. We went to see the white goods being supplied and the microwaves are very low wattage and the washing machines are usually only around 800/900 spin speed. The mattresses will also be basic.

We decided not to have the pack and have ordered our own white goods and mattresses locally for delivery when we get our keys.

The basic stuff is ok if it's just for a holiday apartment but if you are living there full time you might want better quality stuff. If you search furniture packs in Spain, there is a website offering various grades of packs from basic to more expensive. Cannot remember the website address.
