Hi to all,

We are in the early stages of buying at the Dream Hills II area, so we may be pestering the forum asking lot of questions.

To get the ball rolling, can anyone recommend an Air Condition fitter/installer,who will recommend a unit and install it. Initially we have been told to buy a good quality unit for the lounge area.

Any help much appreciated

Air Con

Air Conditioning cost 500euros per unit. WE SUPPLY AND INSTALL COIN OPERATED PRE-PAYMENT ELECTRICITY METERS.
IDEAL IF YOU ARE RENTING YOUR PROPERTY AND ARE WORRIED ABOUT THE ELECTRICITY BILL.
THE METERS CAN BE ATTACHED TO ANY ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE I.E. AIR CONDITIONING OR ON THE WHOLE HOUSE.
COST 190 EURO - TARRIFF VARIABLE SO YOU CAN RECOUPE THE INITIAL COST OF INSTALLATION.

I can personally recommend Mike (as above) for your air-con. He's fitted two units for me so far and I couldn't fault his service and professionalism.

Just got back from Spain last night, whilst there had an extra unit fitted and can recommend fitters give Sean a call on 0034 618480649. I hope they can help you.

carrefour 300E fully fitted & they had an offer on for 279E at chirstmass, fitters made firstclass job to as i've seen some horrable work done, there again they'll have to make a good job or loose there contract

I had one fitted by Carrefour as well. 300 euros!!!! great unit and supplies heat as well for winter months!

Hi if you want a unit to be cost effective get an inverter, as they use less electricity. They are more expensive. Again makes such as Panasonic are usually more cost efficient to run to some of the cheaper makes. Klima in Torrevieja are worth looking at. If you are renting your property out it may be better to spend more on the unit, as tenants won't care if the air con is left on all day with the door wide open! Otherwise that pay as you go metered one sounds quite good for rentals.
