Can anybody tell me what a reasonable charge for cleaning a 3 bedroom 6 bed apartment in Torrevieja is? The cleaners would obviously need to hold the key.
I can tell you who to avoid at all costs....... Due to properties not being cleaned when they are supposed to, missing bed linen (she must have so much bed linen at her house, as it disappears from every property!), and other items, need I say anymore! Use of phone and aircon without the owners permission. So beware of adverts in the CB News, as she advertises in there!
The drill seems to be that you pay the basic key-holding charge about 20e a month then arrange for the guests to pay the cleaner in euroes directly on each let, 60e or whatever. This way the cleaner turns up to clean & get her money and the new guests check the house before they pay !! The cleaner can also supply extras like a fridge full of food and make a bit more.
This happened to us about 4 years ago, I wonder if it's the same person. I need to choose my words carefully here, I don't want to get into trouble. Our person was a large Irish lady with platinum blonde hair and whose name began with a J. Is it the same persn?
I had 2 Irish people looking after my property in Torrevieja and had a long let (6 months) They were on a 20% take and were to collect the rent monthly and also sheck that the property was being kept properly.
At the end of the 6 months tenancy they allowed the tenants to stay in residance for almost another month without paying rent . When the tenants left the place was a tip and lots of items missing.
I would never employ those people again . I asked on a regular basis if they were checking the property and they assured me they were but i know know otherwise.
Cant say their names on this site but i can be contacted.
