Polaris World & No Mains Water

I heard a rumour that the Polaris World developments roundabout here have been refused connection to mains water, as they built the houses without the proper planning, thinking that because they were "Polaris World" then they would be bound to get it. This leaves owners who have bought on these developments having to buy bottled water to wash in.

Has anyone else heard this?

Seen in one of the papers last week - they have stopped Polaris World building some of the new developments that they wanted to - think that was because of water also.

Hi I read this too in the Daily Mail last Autumn. Polaris World denied the allegation, but who knows?

If you buy property on the costas you have to accept that you may be made to pay a fine and after it be demolished. It seems almost irrelevant who checks what beforehand as most are paying into the backpockets of others anyway. A solicitors loyalty is rarely towards his client, because long term he needs companys like Polaris to pass punters to him. The mayor is only loyal towards all the people from other countries because it avoids his people being on the dole queue.

Hubby was telling me yesterday that he had heard that Polaris World had been ordered to demolish the houses, etc, and will have to refund everyone's money. Don't know which sites it affects though! If this is true, Jack Nicklaus must be worried!
