Does anyone know how to set up the message recording on the telephone, ours seems to have disappeared, also how to do the English message as I have forgotten how we did it. Thanks

Hello Gil. My answer phone is also currently not functioning and I wonder whether the fault is at Telefonica's end. All was well with mine 2 days ago.

Yes it is possible to change the language to Englsih and to record your own welcome message.
To change the language, clear all messages then press the mensajes button, select 1 from the menu then 4 then enter 0000 (this is the default PIN which is the norm) then select 3 then 1 then 1 again to confirm.
Thereafter you can record your own message by following the instruction which should then be in English. The sequence here should be press mensajes, then select 1 then 1 again then enter 0000 then 2 then 2 again then speak your message then press hash then 1 to confirm everything.
If, the first time you enter the 4 zeros you hear the voice saying numero no correcto then chances are that your phone number has previously been allocated to another person who has set their own PIN (this happened to me) you will then have to contact Telefonica and ask them to reset the PIN, this will take about 24 hours, then you can proceed as above.

How to set up the answer phone

I have followed the instructions to activate the answer phone. It just carries on ringing with no answer phone kicking in. Any ideas?
