Nature Park of the Lagoons of La Mata and Torrevieja

I am going over soon and im just wondering if anyone has been to the nature park, also can you get there from the centre of torrevieja? How far is it? ect.

Best to enter the park at La Mata which is to the north of town. There is a car park there or get the bus.
