I personally think the best Hons Garcia is on the road between the two lakes. Three floors of furniture etc. at all prices and styles. Going from the N322 towards carrefour, Go straight on keeping Carrefour to your right. Carry straight on keeping mc Donalds to your right. Take the next right and it's on your right. Bear in mind that when you see the semi built in units they don't have to be bought like that. You can mix and match thge items and they have differnet size cupboards etc. EG we have just ordered a bed with under bed storage, plus a pull out bed, plus a wardrobe that stands at the end of the bed and an over bed wall storage unit that should have another wardrobe at the other end. We haven't the room for that so asked if they could fix the over bed unit to the end wall, which they are doing. The staff mostly speak good English. Another place where there are many furniture shops is Almoradi. Go up the Motorway towards Alicante and you can see the MAXX furniture shop. Take that exit and there is a huge choice of shops there.

Dear Rab 5
ʹm not sure why your house NOT being a new build means a complete refurnishing !
We bought hour house new and had to get it completely refurnished as you are doing.
The advantage and extra coost of resales is because they usually come furnished and fitted up.
I have usually advised acquaintances on this basis, so I am interested to see if I am wrong or your circumstances are unusual.
Best Wishes in any case
