Using digital TV with DVD Recorder

Does anyone with the digital MMDS TV system have their Coship box attached to a DVD recorder with a hard disk ? Does it work OK and if so what DVD recorder have you got ? Can you pause live TV and/or setup to use 2 tuners on the recorder? I would be grateful for any help / information from anybody with such a system
