car hire help

[davieboy]

Can anyone tell me which companies would hire a car from alicante airport to a 20 year old male

[pnorman]

i thought the legal minimum age to hire cars in spain was 21 - maybe someone out there knows different

I am sure that years ago I drove a hire car from Coys Cars when i was 20, however that was 10 years ago, so things maybe different now.

I do believe it is an insurance issue, but dont quote me on that!

HI checked out car hire for a 20 year old the other week. You have to be at least 23 and 2 years experience. some companys it was 25years old and 3 years experience. I was pleased as did not want him to drive over here due to some of the mad drivers i have seen.
