Take Care when you see the Red Flag!!

I live in an apartment in Lamata which looks out to the sea, even though this morning the sea seems really boisterous and hence the red flags are flying, I have just seen a helicopter pull 3 bodies from the sea, it has knocked me ill, what a waste of life, (I presume they are dead)
Why do people insist on losing there common sense when they come on holiday?

Tragic..... Last year the flags were flying at Playa Calle Capitan between La Zenia & Cabo Roig. 3 British kids got into serious difficulties, and had to be rescued by the Life Gurad a petite lady, helped by my husband and numerous other beach users, of all nationalities. My husband had trouble keeping on his feet, the kids were clinging to a rock where the water was chest deep on him, (he's 6'2"). (2 other life guards also sprinted from La Zenia beach to help) These kids were lucky, but the flags are flying for a reason, not just for fun. What was lovely to see was Brits, Germans, & Spanyards (plus probably other nationalities) all working together.................
