Los Naufragos Area

Hi Was wondering if anybody knows The Los Naufragos area. Such as the mini golf, Public Swimming Pools, Thinking about buuying in the area but don't know much about that area.

I have been to the beach there and had to trawl around to try to park, and I have always thought it was not a very nice place very closed in and very untidy with litter etc,
Only my view, but not somewhere I would want to own.

Hi, Have to disagree with the last post, we bought a flat in the area two years ago and really like it. Not particularly picturesque but a very friendly area with lots of local bars, cafes, shops etc and beach at the end of the road. Also good as you can walk into the town centre in about fifteen-twenty minutes. A good area if you don't want to have to rely on having a car if you want to go to the supermarket or the beach, and for practicing your Spanish as a lot of people in the area don't speak English.

Hi Schwartzyholf thanks for that. Am looking at a 1 bed apartment, does not have a swimming pool but heard there is one a couple of minutes walk away also the beach is a 2 minute walk. Am thinking of buying mainly as an investment also to rent out.

Los Naufragos Apartment

Hi Crazy

Which apartment block is the 1 bedroom apartment you were looking at? which street?

I do property management and rentals and I have around 10 1 bedroom apartments in the same building called Edificio Naufragos, Calle Almoradi.

I am fully booked almost from now and throughout the summer these apartments are my best rentals, I am looking for more of them to rent, as they are going so quickly I would say go for it great investment, I also am selling 2 apartments in this building if you are interested. Just let me know.

I have decided to go for it and have put down a deposit but the place will not be ready until end July. I live in Torrevieja, so will doing my own maintenence etc. Do you have a website where i could advertise if so what are your costs.

Hi Crazy, There are a couple of swimming pools close by to Naufragos. One is about 5 mins walk away and is ok but a little basic, and there's another about 10 mins away that is very nice with grassy surround, bar cafe and tennis courts.

Hi Schwartzyholf. Thanks for that. Thats what i was looking for. I have lived in Torre for 3 years and love it but don't really know about the Los Naufragos area apart from upto Out of Afika Restaurant (I Know that is not quite on Los Naufragos beach but near enough). Thought i would be brave and jump in with both feet. Which maybe a bit crazy! but you don't get anywhere in life without a few risks! Will check out the swimming pool with the tennis courts.
