Can anyone help me with some advice? I have friends who wish to get married in Torrevieja, although they live in England. Is this possible and if so does anyone know how to go about it?

Hi, My daughter wanted to get married here, it is very difficult, I think I am right in saying you have to be a permanant resident for 2 years before you can even start.
Most people go to Gibraltar where they can have a civil ceremony and then come back and have a Wedding Blessing in an Anglican church. The blessing ceremony is virtually the same as a Church Wedding in UK, even down to signing the Register.
