Car Purchase(Again!!)

We are going down to Torre at the end of the year,for 5-6months.We want to buy a new,or nearly new car to leave there for future visits.We own our own property and have NIC numbers,but we are not on the Padron.What documents do we need to purchase a vehicle in Spain?(Apart from the folding type in your wallet!)

I bought one last year required NIE, PASSPORT, HOUSE DEEDS,UK DRIVING LICIENCE,and the garage did the rest through a Gestor cost an extra 200euros,but well worth it as they checked out the previous owner
regarding debts,etc.

I bought a car from Framon Motors at Bigastro last year. They gave me 60days clearance to drive it without it being transferred. They provide a free airport service,when I collected it at Murcia there was a note asking for a Padron certificate before they could transfer ownership which I supplied to them. Why don't you try the legal section to find out if its obligatory.

My point exactly Douglas this is Spain different garages different requirements. Best bet would be to get a definitave answer from the legal section
