:P i know that we are in spain but we would just like a real english sunday lunch could any one please tell me the best place to go

Any number of bars do a decent Sunday lunch. Which area are you in, then I can narrow it down a bit.

I just can't eat that myself, not in this heat. How about a traditional Sunday salad?

we are on aquas nuevas near the mercadona and we always seem to struggle with sunday lunch

I don't know of any places in Aguas Nuevas but a very short drive from there are La Siesta and San Luis. Bar Tropico in La Siesta is very good for roasts and Bar Al Sol, Glenns Bar and the Lakeside Bar all in San Luis give great value for money and excellent Sunday fayre.

The best Sunday lunch is at The Bell in Torrevieja. You can get a bus near the mercadona and The Bell is near the church square. They are English, and everything is cooked fresh, no tinned stuff. Portions are a good size too.

Shirelles by Playa Aquecion just 8.50E for 3 courses also looks over the beach and harbour. The Best place i have had sunday lunch even beats The Sands Bistro by Playa Cura
