Hi
can anyone out there give me some advise please
We have just bought a property in the area for use as a holiday home and for family and friends and we want to install satellite tv
I will want any english sports channels I can get and my other half loves her soaps.
Any views on systems, suppliers etc and what should we expect to pay

Best to look for what suits you when you come over for a holiday
i am getting it installed on the 15th august when i am over it costs
490euros installation and 180euros per year that gives you all the
sports & soaps you need, by the way we are at La Herrada

there are lots of different companys doing allsorts of packages
they are advertised in all the free newspapers in and around
Torrevieja or ask one of your neighbours.

As Dougie says, speak to your neighbours to get the best idea of service levels offered by different companies before choosing. Some companies lose channels at different times of the day, instigate price hikes without informing the customer etc. Also remember that message boards will usually only give you an indication of the opinions of dis-satisfied customers. Very rarely do people post to say how brilliant their service provider is!
